Deer's

Sunday a few friends and I decided to take a trip to Richmond Park to photograph some Deers

What a great day we had. I've never been to Richmond Park before and I was amazed by how big it is and how many deer/stags there are roaming free with the general public.

It's a beautiful park and great fun for photographers. Although alot of walking.

Well worth the trip and I'll defiantly be going back

Here are just a few photos from Sunday.

AYITLOF & Hop Festival

Well friday was the grand opening of this years A Year In The Life Of Faversham Exhibition.

And a great opening night it was. Alot of hard work has gone into this years exhibition with the addition of the Time passes book that has been created showing the changing face of faversham. Which I had the great pleasure of helping out with.

The exhibition is open to the public over this weekend and the following week. If your passing pop in it's free, full of great photos and you get a free copy of Time Passes!
Yes free thanks to funding from the Lottery Heritage Fund.

Also was this weekend saw the 2010 Hop Festival of Faversham.

As always great to see the whole community out enjoying the event. Live music, street entertainers, Morris dancers and of course a wide variety of beers including Faversham's own Shepherd Neame.

Reflection on Biggin Hill 2010

Well it's Monday. And I'm back to work as normal.

I keep reflecting on the events of the weekend at Biggin Hill. It was a great weekend. Yes I went Saturday and Sunday.

The Battle of Briton 70th anniversary displays were great to see. But also very humbling when you think of all the young men and women that lost their life's and to all those who risked theirs for their country. I truly salute you all for your braveness and courage.

Seeing the big Lancaster bomber was a dream come true for me. I am so in love with her and have been since a little child. Partly due to watching the Dambusters so many times.

And I was also very glade to see old Sally B (B17) up in the air. Both these huge bombers looks so majestic in flight. Like big gliders. Was a beautiful site to see.

So a big thank you to all who organised Biggin Hill International Air Fair 2010. It was a great show. And a special thanks to all the planes and pilots who displayed. It was truly excellent.

Biggin Hill International Air Fair 2010

Well I spent the whole day at the first day of this years Biggin hill air show. And a great show it was. 1 of my highlights was to see the majestic Lancaster Bomber in flight. Great stuff. The RAF Falcons put on a good display and gave me a free Cap so that was cool. I like freebies.

The Harrier jumpjet was awsome to see hovering an reversing etc. An also seeing the typhoon again. What a noise!!! So loud it hurts your chest.

I'm downloading today's photos at the mo. But as I am back to Biggin Hill tomorrow for the final day I will have yet more photos to go through. Although not as many as today as tomorrow is ment to be a family visit to the show but will have camera on my should just in case. Lol

Update

Just a quick update as I've been pretty quite lately.

I'm currently working on a few projects at the mo trying to get them up and running and the progress is going well.

Camera club is coming towards it's end for this season but has been really good sofar. And lastnights demo with Chris Shore was excellent! A truely amazing Landscape photographer with a passion for traditional Large Format photography. And I can see why he likes it.

Faversham ans District Camera Club are holding an exhibition of members work on the 5th and 6th June 2010 at the Guildhall faversham Market place.
It's set to be another great exhibition along with a raffle to win some of the displayed work. And I also beleive some of the mounted prints will be for sale too.

So I hope if your near faversham that weekend pop in and hav a look around. It's free to get it.

Well that's all for now.
